RESISTANCE

 

The SS developed a system of terror which should not only make resistance, but even the thought of resistance impossible. Again and again, the prisoner was shown drastically how helpless he and how powerful the SS was.

One form of organized resistance was the visual (members of the "Sonderkommando" in the gas chamber secretly taking pictures) and the written documentation of the unbelievable horror.
